It sounds more than sensible and something I can attest to. being forced to slow down has given me a more peaceful perspective on life. Waiting patiently for the kettle to boil for tea, slowly washing my dishes by hand, resting on my bed and watching the leaves on the willow tree outside my window are just a few of the small joys I cherish now. I just wish it didn't take an illness to make me realize how precious each moment is.
