Well, the good news is that I found my camera cable! It was on the desk in my study in Newark, exactly where I'd left it last time I'd downloaded some pictures...
The bad news is that I STILL don't have broadband, so that means no pics on blog posts, no real blog posts, and I can't get onto a lot of websites. I haven't yet seen the Winter Knitty, and Ravelry is pretty much out (pics take too long to show up) as are all the yarn shop ads that appeared in my inbox! I'm currently sub-letting a room in a 2 bedroom flat in Windsor from another girl, and she says it's going to be about another fortnight before the broadband gets fixed up. Fortunately we now have had a phone line connected, so I can use occasional dial-up, although not much as it's not fair on my flatmate!

Camera cables always go missing, I think that they are made with legs!! I hope you get broadband soon, I find the library helpful if I am internet deprived!
Well, you are probably getting a lot more knitting done than those of us who spend more time online reading about knitting than actually knitting lol. But it must be frustrating - here's to broadband reconnection soon :)

Yeah, I always loose my camera cable too. Boo to no internet but I do agree with piglottie, the internet is a drain on my knittin time, espeically ravelry, who introduced me to that beast?!
I hope you are getting settled into your job and you can stay somewhere long enough to get settled into a house!!
