Garden at the beginning of February

I've had a busy weekend and no time to blog, and this week looks a bit mad too, so I thought I'd just do a quick update of the garden at the beginning of the month (well, 5th Feb, still not much daylight when I get home from work).

Not much has changed since last month. The OH painted the fence with wood preservative, and that's pretty much it.

Ha ha, my garden is invisible except for a few stems I neglected to cut back before the snow came! I'll post a picture, maybe the first of April!

I was waiting for that picture :-)
Same over here, not much change since the snow has gone, BUT if you look closely there definitely are changes as the first spring bulb plants are poking there leaves into the light!

Doesn't the grass look greener though? It's a lovely time of year for the garden.

I'm impressed.....at least it looks like you did a fall cleanup! My garden looks bare and kinda dead, but I know last year I took a picture of it about this time of year, and within about 6 weeks you wouldn't have recognized it. That's the amazing part, isn't it! Happy first day of spring!
