I'm going to Greenbelt!

Phew. The dissertation draft finally arrived this morning so I've spent the day frantically putting apostrophes in the right place, putting the bibliography in alphabetical and date order and rewriting some of the original codswallop. And it's done!! HOORAY!! That means I can go to Greenbelt tomorrow!! Then be back in time on Tuesday to get the thing printed out (it's 95 pages long) twice and down to the binder's.

Now all I need to do is pack. Have already packed the knitting but nothing else yet.

Enjoy the bank holiday weekend (for UK readers) and the normal weekend (everybody else).

What is it about knitters that says that we will prepare our knitting for a trip about 2 weeks ahead of time but not worry about packing in the slightest. I usually take enough knitting to keep me going for 4 times the anticipated length of the holiday. You never know what you'll want to knit and when you might want to cast something new etc...

Hope you enjoyed Greenbelt - good luck with your dissertation - what are you studying?

Thanks for your comment on my blog - there should be more about New England and yarn shortly. :)

Hope you enjoyed greenbelt. Take care, and good luck with your diss - I'm in the final stages of writing mine, so it gives me hope to see that it can indeed be finished! ;)

Glad you got your dissertation draft back on time and you were able to get to Greenbelt which I also hope you enjoyed! By the way, I think the KSH wrap in your previous post is lovely - gorgeous colour, too! Although I appreciate your comment about River looking elegant in the photo on my blog, does it put it in perspective if I tell you that it was balanced between the double doors on a broom handle!? Elegant!!?? :-)
